Jewelry care

To keep your Ember Spell jewelry beautiful, durable, and as radiant as the day you bought it, it’s important to follow a few simple care guidelines. All our pieces are made of stainless steel, and some designs feature zircon stones or other decorative details. Below you’ll find a detailed guide on how to properly care for your jewelry.

1. Contact with liquids and chemicals

Water: Although stainless steel is moisture-resistant, it’s best to remove your jewelry before swimming in the sea, pool, or taking a bath. This helps prevent loss of shine or damage to decorative elements.

Cosmetics: Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, hair products, or foundation. These can dull the surface or affect the sparkle of zircon stones.

Tip: Always put on your jewelry last – after completing your beauty routine.

2. Wearing

Sports: Remove jewelry before exercising or engaging in physical activities. Sweat, friction, and impact can damage surfaces or loosen stones.

Sleep: Avoid wearing jewelry while sleeping, as pressure or twisting can deform or damage the piece.

3. Storage

Separate storage: Keep your jewelry pieces separately in boxes or fabric pouches to avoid scratches and tangling.

Moisture protection: Do not store jewelry in bathrooms or other humid areas. Constant moisture can affect the surface or connections.

4. Cleaning

Daily care: Use a soft microfiber cloth to gently remove dust, fingerprints, or dirt.

Deep cleaning: If necessary, wash gently with warm water and a small amount of mild, fragrance-free soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry carefully.

Avoid: Harsh cleaners, alcohol, toothpaste, baking soda, or abrasive surfaces.

5. Care for zircon and other accents

If your jewelry features zircon or other stones:

  • Do not clean with ultrasonic devices or hot water.

  • Avoid strong pressure or impacts – stones may loosen or fall out.
